ME

My expertise includes establishing and scaling businesses, driving strategic growth, raising capital, navigating complex regulatory landscapes, commercialising products, and leading through critical transitions, such as IPOs, M&As, rapid scale-ups, and corporate restructuring.

Having filled various senior leadership roles, including CEO, I now aim to leverage my passion, strategic vision, operational expertise, and commercial acumen to help businesses, entrepreneurs, and executives achieve their full potential.

 

I am dedicated to sharing my knowledge and experiences to drive growth, foster innovation, and lead transformational change.

My mission is to support businesses in enhancing stakeholder engagement, performance, and profitability, enabling them to succeed in a rapidly evolving market.

Together with my fellow co-founder, we originated and established New Zealand's largest biopharmaceutical company specialising in

cannabinoid therapeutics. Starting with just an idea, we broke through complex regulatory barriers and set industry standards, making the company the leader in New Zealand’s sunrise industry.

 

In June 2018, I stepped into the CEO role and successfully guided the company through an IPO, overseeing multiple capital raises totalling over $35 million. This funding propelled business establishment, product innovation and rapid scale-up.

 

I also managed mergers and acquisitions and oversaw successful licensing and Medsafe approvals for the launch of the company’s first New Zealand-made medicines.

Previous to this role I co-founded and led the country’s largest soft furnishing textile business specialising in natural fabrics.

​

By focusing on quality, performance, and design, we brought natural soft furnishing fabrics back into popularity in a market dominated by synthetic materials.

 

The company became the trusted brand for natural textiles among leading interior designers and soft furnishing retailers in both New Zealand and Australia. Highlights included being named an Air New Zealand Brand Partner for their global Koru Lounges upgrade and entering an exclusive fabric design agreement with David Trubridge.
